AP Star of the Week Named
Monday, September 6th, 2060
At the age of 30, David Wilson might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Keg Creek right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .455 batting average. For his efforts Wilson collected the Appalachian Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 6 games.
Currently Wilson is batting .362 with 213 hits and 13 home runs. He has knocked in 45 runs and scored 115 times.
