Amaya Sensational, 5-for-5 Sunday, May 26th, 2058 The Ocean Beach Surf stopped the Colo Springs Sky Sox by a score of 20-5 at Tarpons Ballpark today, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Wayne Amaya. The 29-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Amaya said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Amaya did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Sky Sox. "Not much that I can say," offered Colo Springs manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us." Wayne Amaya singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
