League Suspends Martínez and Unknown for Fisticuffs Sunday, June 8th , 2070 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Virginia-Cheyenne contest at Pistols Ballpark. The Sting Sean Martínez and the Falcons Jim Unknown will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this season Martínez has gotten 63 hits in 203 at-bats for a .310 batting average with 9 home runs. His stats include 35 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has played in 55 games. |
