Hit Streak Now at 25 for Flores

Jorge Flores has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 25-year-old Bethlehem Ironmen third baseman extended his streak to 25 games, going 3-for-5 as Bethlehem got the best of the Haiti Hoagies at Courageous Ballpark, 11-10.
"Jorge has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Ironmen manager said. Jorge Flores struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Looking at his present stats, Flores has compiled a .381 batting average in 52 games with a .416 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 37 runs.
