Moose End Flores Streak Sunday, June 26th , 2072 Lady Luck was not on the side of Jorge Flores or his teammates at Ballpark of Lexington. Everything went the way of the Saint Johns Moose, who not only came away with the 3-2 victory over Bethlehem, but also held Flores hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 29-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Flores said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." So far this year, Flores is batting .382 with 8 home runs. |
