PAC Pick for Top Pitcher in June is Howard Saturday, July 1st, 2062 Frank Howard was the anchor in the Flint Mound bullpen last month and snatched up the Pacific League Pitcher of the Month honors for June. The 31-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 11 innings over 10 relief appearances and collected a 2-0 record with 9 strikeouts and 6 saves while etching his 0.82 ERA. Thus far this year Howard has picked up 14 saves. He has also compiled a 2-1 won-lost mark with a 3.38 ERA and in 21.1 innings fanned 24. |
