Another Setback for Norfolk 's Israel Rivera Sunday, July 20th , 2064 Things have gotten worse for Israel Rivera of the Norfolk Navigators. The 23-year-old center fielder will not be back as soon as originally expected. Rivera is undergoing treatment for a foot contusion, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 4 days. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Israel tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." This year Rivera has collected a .299 batting average to date with 58 hits in 194 at-bats, 43 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 37 times. He has played in 58 games. |
