Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Diamonds Alexander
Monday, September 22nd , 2070
The Dayton Diamonds plan to take it slow with right fielder Larry Alexander, knowing that his recovery from a strained oblique would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Larry has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 3 weeks before he can be activated."
Alexander is currently hitting at a .268 pace with 8 home runs, 32 RBIs and has scored 61 times.
