Phelps Goes 5-for-5 Against Yellowknife

5 times is the charm -- at least for Nick Phelps.
The Chibougamou Onions first baseman tore up the Yellowknife Wolverines to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ballpark of Aurora. The offensive onslaught from Phelps powered the 15-5 Onions win.
"Phelps was a tough out," Yellowknife manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Nick Phelps hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
This year, Phelps is batting .415 with 2 home runs. He has scored 15 runs and driven in 18.

Walker Goes 5-for-6

Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Chibougamou 's 15-5 win over Yellowknife , shortstop Bobby Walker was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Aurora.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Walker said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Bobby Walker hit an RBI triple in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
This season in 18 games, Walker has hit at a .342 clip with 26 hits, 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
