League Gives Serrano Suspension Sunday, May 9th , 2077 The baseball commissioner has suspended Solid Gold first baseman Rubén Serrano 3 games for arguing too vehemently on a called third strike in the Don game at Ballpark of Durham. Apparently he said the magic words and was ejected by the home plate umpire. He went into the dugout, then returned to the field, resumed his argument with the umpire and had to be restrained by his first base coach. Serrano said he shouldn't have gone back on the field. "I was pretty mad. I was all over the place." In the 2077 season Serrano is hitting .225 with 2 home runs. |
