Atlantic League Picks Top Player Monday, June 4th, 2057 22-year-old Sean Bannatyne made a few Lancaster headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Atlantic League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .524 average. Bannatyne collected 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 11 runs. This year Bannatyne has socked 69 hits in 183 at-bats for a .377 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .493 pace and his totals also include 42 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
