Gabriel Barrón Captures ATL Award Monday, May 9th , 2072 A hot-hitting week got Gabriel Barrón the Atlantic League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Duluth left fielder slammed them for a .435 average, 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the postgame press conference, Barrón shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." In 2072 Barrón has hit at a .373 clip with 38 hits, 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and has scored 15 times. |
