Dakota Stops Cleveland Hit Streak Friday, May 29th , 2076 Ft Levenworth Rock Crushers left fielder Paul Cleveland finally met his Waterloo. A 27-game hitting spree is now history after Cleveland was unable to make anything happen in 3 at-bats today against the Dakota Demons. Fortunately for Cleveland and the Rock Crushers, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 7-1. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 27 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." This season, Cleveland is batting .306 with 1 home run. |
