Beck Spins 5-0 Shutout Thursday, June 23rd , 2072 Dave Beck handcuffed the Crab Apple Cove Barrels at Goldbugs Ballpark, coming away with a 2-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Brighton Fightin' Squirrels right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Beck had little trouble with the Barrels and led the Fightin' Squirrels to victory, 5-0. He recorded 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.
