GreenCard Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, July 22nd , 2070 After a tough year, the GreenCard Players have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the GreenCard area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. GreenCard last appeared in the postseason in 2065. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 39 times in their 47-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Players have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
