Ft. Collins 's Gutiérrez ATL's Best Monday, August 4th , 2070 22-year-old Octávio Gutiérrez made a few Ft. Collins headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Atlantic League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 15 hits in 31 at-bats to put up a .484 average. Gutiérrez collected 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 9 runs.
