Round 2 Goes the Distance, Pine Bluff Prevails Monday, September 1st , 2070 In an exciting Round 2 that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is POTD Single A fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Pine Bluff Man Trolls, who edged the Lancaster Lightning 4-3 to advance to the Round 3. Pine Bluff won the final game by a 6-4 count to wrap up the series. Ron Morrison earned series MVP honors, by hitting .379 with a .379 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Pine Bluff Man Trolls don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bar Harbor Lobstermen - Chihuahuan Chuckwallas series.
