5-Hit Game for Vázquez Wednesday, July 24th , 2069 Miguel Vázquez was sizzling at the plate today. The Chandler center fielder blistered the Dollar Corner Buffalos for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to a 15-14 defeat. "Vázquez was too tough to get out today," Buffalos skipper said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Miguel Vázquez grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jesús Herrera in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
