In a seemingly effortless performance, Leslie Rose of the Olympic River Swimmers shot down the Pickle Pickers 8-0 on a 1-hit shutout.

"Leslie was just locating so well and using his pitches," Olympic manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Rose recorded 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Pickle manager said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

To date this season, Rose has registered 16 starts, 6-4 won-lost mark, 3.13 ERA, 103.2 IP, 78 strikeouts and 43 walks. Opposing teams have hit .233 against him.
