Depending on your loyalties, the Round 1 was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the George Town Tourists and the Jackson Hole Bucks giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Tourists came out on top, winning 3-1 at Louisville Grounds today to take the series 3-2.

"We're lucky to be going into the Round 2," said George Town pitcher Mark King. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

King earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .353 average, with 2 home runs, 2 RBI and 6 runs scored.

The George Town Tourists will play against the Granville Greyhounds in the next round. Granville won their series against the Sonoran Jackrabbits 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
