Mass Ave Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game
Mass Ave Minutemen won a nail-biting series against the Dollar Corner Buffalos 3-2, wrapping up the Round 1 finale 6-1 at Buffalos Ballpark.

Minutemen second baseman Kelly Dahlgren was named the series MVP.

He batted .625, drove in 2 runs and scored 2 to lead Mass Ave into the next round of play.

"Kelly was real solid for us, real solid," said Minutemen manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."

The Mass Ave Minutemen don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bakersfield Firewalkers - Mason Victors series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes..
