Serrano Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Haiti Tuesday, May 4th , 2077 The Haiti Hoagies were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Colo Springs Sky Sox and hurler Carlos Serrano. Serrano kept the Hoagies confused all game, spinning a 8-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Serrano," Haiti manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 25-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Serrano said.
