Pacific League Winner is Martínez

Domingo Martínez demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Pacific League Player of the Week Award.
The Edmonton first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .407 average (11-for-27) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
For the year, Martínez is hitting .321 with 22 home runs. His stats include 61 runs batted in and 54 runs scored.
