Edgar Smacks 5 Hits for Red Terrors

Leonard Edgar was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Spin Doctors Ballpark, the Raleigh first baseman blistered the Tequila Worms for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 17-4 victory.
"Edgar was too tough to get out," Worms skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Leonard Edgar doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Rafael Valdés in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
