Colón Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Friday, May 28th , 2077 The Coudersport Monkeys stopped the Saint Johns Moose, 4-3, and Orlando Colón collected a base hit yet again. The Coudersport first baseman finished with 3 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Colón told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Orlando Colón doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Joe Guerra in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
