Cheney Sizzles -- Smokes Rasta for 5 Hits Monday, June 2nd , 2070 No matter what the Kingston Rasta threw at him today, Bruce Cheney hit it. He easily handled Rasta pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Van Hagars to a 18-3 triumph at Ballpark of Madison. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Cheney's quip, Rasta skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Bruce Cheney singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
