Harris Batters Kingston for 5 Hits
Monday, June 2nd , 2070
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Tim Harris today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Ballpark of Madison and paced the Van Hagars to a 18-3 win over the Kingston Rasta.
After his dynamite batting performance, the Cabo San Lucas left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."
His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Tim Harris singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
In his season totals, Harris has 6 home runs, .315 BA, .387 OBP, 25 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has played in 49 games.
