Rick Ball Out 5-6 Weeks With Injury Saturday, May 1st , 2066 It took the Ocean Beach team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Rick Ball won't simply play through a herniated disc after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Ironmen-Surf game. At first, it looked like Ball might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 5-6 weeks. |
