Colo Springs Blanks Monkeys, Ramírez Wins Thursday, June 5th , 2070 In a seemingly effortless performance, Steve Ramírez of the Colo Springs Sky Sox shot down the Coudersport Monkeys 17-0 on a 4-hit shutout. "Steve was just locating so well and using his pitches," Colo Springs manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Ramírez recorded 5 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Coudersport manager said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
