Pacific League Picks Top Player Monday, June 14th, 2060 22-year-old Juan Peņa made a few Raleigh headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Pacific League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 15 hits in 28 at-bats to put up a .536 average. Peņa collected 1 home run, 10 RBIs and scored 10 runs. In his 2060 season totals, Peņa has 6 home runs, .329 BA, .428 OBP, 35 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
