PAC Awards Best Batter Prize to Tanaka Monday, June 21st, 2060 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific League, but last week Yataro Tanaka of the Edmonton Trappers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Tanaka rocked opposing pitching for a .533 average (8-for-15), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Tanaka has 8 home runs and a .405 batting average. |
