Casey Whiffs 15, Greenwich Village Tops Mojave Wednesday, May 17th, 2062 Greenwich Village Idiots starter Gerald Casey brought his best stuff to Bulldozers Ballpark today against the Mojave Woodrats , striking out 15 batters in his club's 5-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 23-year-old Casey gave up 1 hit in his 7.1 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my curveball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." Casey has taken the hill for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 7-0 record with a 2.56 ERA.
