Year Over for Explorers Larson Jr.
Saturday, July 19th, 2059
When Columbus reliever Robert Larson Jr. was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Explorers-Barons game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Larson Jr. had sustained a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for about 12 months.
For the season Larson Jr. has made 12 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 3-7 won-lost mark and a 4.59 ERA. In pitching 49 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 21 walks.
