Eduardo Salazar Hurt, Out for Year Sunday, June 10th, 2063 Eduardo Salazar of the Hoagies just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Haiti reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Colo Springs Sky Sox recently at Roadrunners Ballpark. Salazar suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Hoagies medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months. This year Salazar has 5 relief appearances with 3 saves, 0-1 season record and a 1.80 ERA. He has hurled 5 innings, given up 2 hits, struck out 2 and walked 3. Opposing clubs have batted .133 against the Haiti reliever. |
