Dayton -Greenwich Village Brawl, Unknown and Wigmore Suspended Saturday, August 9th, 2059 Jim Unknown of the Dayton Diamonds and Charles Wigmore of the Greenwich Village Idiots will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Diamonds-Idiots game at Ballpark of Fremont. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Unknown and Wigmore will begin serving them soon. This year Wigmore has posted a record of 4 wins and 2 losses with a 4.18 ERA. He has appeared in 25 games and struck out 44 in 56 innings. |
