Ross Gets June's Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, July 1st , 2073 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Jason Ross of the Trenton Talons. He captured the Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in June. Ross started 6 games, threw 33.2 innings, yielded 29 hits and logged a 6-0 record. He put down 22 batters on strikes, walked 14 and compiled a 1.34 ERA. Opposing teams batted .227 against him. This season, Ross has compiled a 8-8 record with a 3.05 ERA in 19 starts. |
