PAC's Top Pitcher in May Is Woods Wednesday, June 1st, 2061 Clarence Woods took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Pacific League Pitcher of the Month award for May. The 24-year-old Barons starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 32 batters in 44.2 innings and compiled a 1.01 ERA. Checking out his stats for the season, Woods has racked up 8 wins and no losses in 10 starts, 2.79 ERA and struck out 52 batters in 67.2 innings. |
