Boy Town Dazzled, García Hurls No-Hitter Friday, July 21st , 2073 Jesús García relied on excellent pitch selection and pinpoint control to hold Boy Town hitless in a win, 12-0, at Peril Ballpark. "Nobody goes out to pitch a no-hitter," he said later. "We just go out and try to get a win. A 10-9 win is better than a 1-0 loss. My pitching buddies might not be too happy giving up nine runs but a win is a win. The key to it today was I mixed my pitches well. I kept the Clients off balance and guessing the whole game." The 30-year-old starter rung up 6 strikeouts and 5 walks in whipping the Clients. "When a guy is throwing strikes the way he was and is locating well, it is going to be a long day for any club," Boy Town skipper said. On the season, García has compiled a 4-3 mark with a 2.93 ERA in 8 starts. In pitching 46 innings he has 33 strikeouts and 21 walks while limiting the opposition to a .219 batting average.
