Ocean Beach Second Baseman Nets PAC Award Monday, July 24th , 2073 Jorge Muñóz is respected by most Ocean Beach Surf fans for his no-frills style of play. The 30-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Pacific League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .600 average (12-for-20) with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season, Muñóz has put up a .338 batting average with 77 hits, 1 home run and 32 RBIs. |
