Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Campbell Sunday, July 26th , 2065 The hitting streak for Raleigh left fielder Mark Campbell now stands at 20 games, but the Red Terrors dropped today's contest 6-3 to the Norfolk Navigators. Campbell went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Mark Campbell grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This season Campbell is batting .338 with 130 hits, 18 home runs, 68 RBIs, .408 OBP and has scored 84 runs. |
