Tequila Loses Víctor Solaro, Will Miss Season
Friday, June 2nd, 2062
The doctors have spoken and Víctor Solaro of the Tequila Worms didn't like what he heard. The 31-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Solaro sustained his season-ending injury during the Colo Springs Sky Sox game yesterday at Tarpons Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Tequila medical staff reported Solaro had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.

This season Solaro has chalked up a 4.74 ERA while ringing up no saves with 1 win and no losses. He has made 12 relief appearances, pitching 19 innings, giving up 15 hits, and holding opponents to a .214 batting average. Solaro has also recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed 17 walks.
