Qing 5-for-6 Against Raleigh Saturday, August 4th , 2068 It was high-fives all around for Mao Qing at Waves Stadium today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Raleigh Red Terrors. Qing smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 7-6 win. "Mao was hitting everything," said Moose manager . "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Red Terrors manager told BNN beat writers that Qing "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Qing oversleeps next time." Mao Qing singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Hamilton Tucker in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. This season Qing has delivered 43 hits in 195 at-bats for a .221 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .262 clip and his totals also include 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
