Red-Hot Ward Cools Off Bethlehem Friday, August 25th , 2073 Coudersport's Lee Ward breezed through the Ironmen lineup, 2-hitting them in a shutout victory, 5-0. Ward fanned 5, as well. "I didn't really feel like I had my A-game today," Ward confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have." This season, Ward has a 9-8 mark in 20 starts with a 3.47 ERA. He has given up 134 hits in 140 innings, struck out 88 and issued 31 walks.
