Haiti Out of Playoff Race Tuesday, August 20th , 2075 A late-season playoff push is not in the cards for the Haiti Hoagies. The club today was mathematically knocked out of playoff contention. "There are a lot of long faces around right now," said Hoagies manager . "You know in your head that every year, most teams in baseball have to go through this, but it still hurts when you realize you've lost your shot at a title." The Hoagies have made the playoffs 9 times in their 52 years as a POTD Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2072. In the last 10 seasons, the Hoagies have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
