Flint Mound Won't Make Playoffs Friday, August 23rd , 2075 The Flint Mound Raiders quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2075. "It feels bad," said Raiders closer Roberto Tapia, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Before this season, the Raiders last missed the playoffs in 2073. In the 52 years they have been a POTD Triple A franchise, they have made the playoffs 21 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Raiders have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
