Setback for Diamonds and Peter Wilkinson Saturday, September 13th , 2070 The Dayton Diamonds trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Peter Wilkinson's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Diamonds third baseman is being treated for a stiff back. During a routine exam, Wilkinson's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another one week. Wilkinson on the season is hitting .244 with 24 home runs. His stats include 69 RBIs and 51 runs scored. |
