Menédez Pitches River Swimmers to Shutout Victory Sunday, April 15th , 2074 It wasn't easy but the Olympic River Swimmers made it look that way. Starter Roberto Menédez shut out the George Town Tourists despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Olympic River Swimmers cruised to victory, 7-0. Menédez allowed only 9 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.
