Robinson Clips Eagles for Cycle Wednesday, May 12th , 2077 Getting 4 hits is a good day by any measure, but when those include a single, double, triple and a home run -- that's something special. Bill Robinson's day was a special one. The first baseman hit for the cycle to spark the 20-7 Sonoran Jackrabbits victory over the East St. Louis Eagles at Chimpanzees Ballpark. Sonoran manager said he thought the whole lineup looked good in batting practice, but had not been expecting anything extraordinary from Robinson in particular. "Bill caught me by surprise today," the skipper said. "He looked good before the game, but man, he looked unbelievable during it." For the day, Robinson finished with 4 RBI and 4 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Bill Robinson singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Mitsuhide Watanabe in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
