Hitting Streak Still Alive for Ito Tuesday, May 25th , 2077 Mabuchi Ito's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Nebraska right fielder smacked 1 hit against the Hell HellFire in today's game at Ballpark of Saint Petersburg, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Nomads drop the game, 5-3. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Mabuchi Ito struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 5th and singled in the 8th. Ito is hitting .378 in 2077 with 20 RBIs and 4 home runs. |
