George Town 's Aguilar Will Miss Season Saturday, May 29th , 2077 The doctors have spoken and José Aguilar of the George Town Tourists didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Aguilar sustained his season-ending injury during the Virgina Beach Breeze game yesterday at Giraffes Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the George Town medical staff reported Aguilar had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months. For the season, Aguilar has compiled a 1-1 record with a 3.91 ERA. |
